The Max Joseph-Platz is nowadays mainly dominated by the impressing building of the National Theater. In its center, there is the Max-Joseph-monument, on the northern side it is limited by teh kings wing of the Residence. The atmosphere of the place suffers from the entrance to an underground garage, ruins its historic atmosphere.
