The Cathedral Church of Our Lady , also simply Frauen(womens) church named, is one of the landmarks of Munich. The church was antlered in 1494 although both towers were not yet completed. The Frauen(womens) church became an archbishop cathedral in 1821. The chruch was heavily destroyed during the second world war. Its reconstruction was finished only in 1994.
