The Olympic stadium was hosting the Olympic games 1972. Since then the two local football clubs FC Bayern Muenchen and TSV 1860 Muenchen are using it for their home games. Together they have 1.5 million spectators a year. Beside that there are also big open air concerts in summer time held in the stadium.
