Siegestor

The Siegestor (Triumphal arc) is the northern end of the Ludwigstraße. On the victory arc, whose paragon was the Konstantin arc in Rome, there is a lion quadriga lead by a Bavaria. The Siegestor was dedicated to the Bavarian army but heavily damaged during world war 2. The saying on the southern side from Prof. Hanns Brown is "sacred to victory, destroyd by war, warning to keep peace".
