At the end of the Ludwigstrasse the great architect F.v. Gaertner built the Feldherrnhall, a hall of fame for military commanders. One is Tilly (leading the catholic army during the Thirty Years War 1618-48)) and the other one is Wrede (commander of the bavarian army during the wars against Napoleon).
